Pärnu muusikafestivali fookuses on eelkõige orkestrimuusika, mille olulisim kandja on spetsiaalne kõrgetasemelise koosseisuga festivaliorkester, kuhu tulevad mängima oma ala tipud kõikjalt maailmast. Festival on toimunud aastast 2009 ning oma kõrge taseme saavutanud tänu Neeme Järvi ja festivali kunstilise juhi, Paavo Järvi, suurele pühendumisele.
